A extremely fine exceptionally large rare Anglo Ceylonese ebony and porcupine quill box, the exterior decorated with bands of porcupine quills between borders of ebony profusely inlaid with white circles, the interior with a removable tray retaining all nine lids of solid ebony with geometric inlaid tops and ring handles. The main lid inlaid with a white elephant flanked by two red stained circles within a geometric inlaid border.
