A Regency Harp Pillar by Erard
A rare Regency period giltwood harp Pillar by Erard. In the form of a classical column, this pillar is from the "Grecian" model, with three female winged figures below a frieze of applied grotesque harp playing figures and above a most sumptuous and elegant fluted column ensuing from a plinth decorated with applied anthemions and palmettes. The pillar has a hole running through the middle so it could be electrified as a very fine standard lamp.
